When you come down from the north of the country and you fancy a good Latin meal, Lechonera Ocala on exit 354 is a must stop, cozy atmosphere, good service and above all delicious food.

I had an amazing experience at Lechonera Ocala...not sure why others have rated it so poorly. The Mofongo con puerco was incredible and the two women working were very kind and welcoming. Absolutely will go back.

Hispanic or not, this is the place for delicious latin food! Family-like staff, so enjoy the hospitality while you "eat at home." Definitely took me back to my childhood which was great since there aren't many spanish restaurants other than Mexican style (no shade, it's just different). I came for dinner, I recommend rice and beans, roasted pork, and sweet fried plantains always, or any other one of their sides...can't go wrong either way I will be going for breakfast and I will be ordering a "typical Dominican breakfast"--ask for it and enjoy

We were here from Lorain Ohio and stopped for something quick and had the alcapurrias... THESE WERE THE BEST I'VE HAD IN YEARS. They tasted like my moms. Even the masa was good. I could taste the sofrito in it. Great flavor! Highly recommend!

Great service and food. I had steak with rice and beans and the wife had steak mofongo. Both of our plates were absolutely great, highly recommended Dominican food in Ocala.

Just drove 18 hours from Texas, this was hands down the best meal I could have asked for once we got checked in at the hotel for work. I will be back before I leave, if not go back everyday until I leave. 10 outta 10 , I will definitely RECOMMEND!!!!!
